On June 23rd 2016, the opening ceremony of the united Polish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands took place at the Polish Embassy in the Hague.The Chamber was formed as a merger of two Chambers formerly operating in Holland.
Jan Borkowski, Ph.D., Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Netherlands, was host of the ceremony. He joined the new Management Board of the Chamber in inviting representatives of member companies, representatives of firms and organisations co-operating with both former Chambers, Polish expat organisations, and representatives of Dutch business organisations and government agencies to the opening ceremony.
Representatives of multinational corporations (LOT, POGC, IKEA) were also invited to the opening ceremony.
During the ceremony, a certificate was presented to the first member of the united Chamber – Raben Group, a logistics company dynamically developing their business on the Dutch market.
Once the official part was over, guests were given the opportunity of establishing new business contacts with Polish and Dutch business people.
